This asparagus and ham potato casserole recipe is fantastic for this holiday season. It’s a simple dish that makes use of already-cooked food so you’re just warming it up. If you don’t like the taste of asparagus, you can use green beans.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. potatoes, mashed
  • 8 oz. pasta, cooked ie: leftover mac and cheese
  • 1 ½ lb. ham, shredded, leftover
  • 8 oz. asparagus, chopped roughly, leftover
  • 1/2 small onion, minced
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp. taco seasoning
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 8 oz. cheddar cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients except the cheese in a large bowl.
  2. Transfer to a greased 9x13 casserole dish and top with cheese.

  3. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

  4. Allow to cool and settle for 10 minutes prior to serving.
