
How To Make Mulled White Wine
This recipe for mulled white wine has all the flavors of cinnamon, cloves, star anise, and oranges. It is a warming drink that is also easy to make.

Ingredients
- 25½ozdry white wine
- 2oranges,sliced into rounds
- ½cupbrandy,optional
- ½cuphoney,or sugar
- 16whole cloves
- 4cinnamon sticks
- 4star anise
Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a non-aluminum saucepan, and bring to a simmer over medium-high heat. Make sure not to boil so as not to boil the alcohol out. Â

Reduce heat to medium-low, and let the wine simmer for at least 15 minutes or up to 3 hours. Strain, and serve warm with desired garnishes.
Recipe Notes
Garnishes could include citrus slices, such as citrus slices, cinnamon sticks or an extra star anise. You can also place the oranges, cloves, cinnamon, and star anise in a cheesecloth. Then simply strain and pull out the bundle when ready to serve.
