How To Make Turkish Apple Tea
Made with real apples, cinnamon sticks, and cloves, this honeyed Turkish apple tea makes a warm and relaxing drink.
Ingredients
- 1 cup apples, dried or fresh, sliced
- 2 pcs cinnamon sticks
- 4 pcs cloves, whole
- 6 cups water
- 1 tbsp honey
For Serving:
- 1 sprig mint, fresh
- 2 tsp lemon zest
Instructions

Combine all ingredients except honey in a saucepan then bring to boil over medium heat. Reduce to low and let it simmer for 15 minutes until the apples are very soft.

Add honey and stir to dissolve, then gently squash the apples.

Strain the hot tea into a teapot.

Pour into tea glasses and serve with mint and lemon zest.
