How To Make Butter Pecan Banana Cake

  • 1 box Duncan Hines Classic Butter Golden Cake Mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 medium bananas, ripe, mashed; about 1 cup
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped


  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt or tube cake pan.

  3. Combine all ingredients except the pecans in a large bowl.

  4. Beat at low speed until moistened, then beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.
  5. Stir in pecans and pour the batter into the pan.

  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

  7. Cool in the pan for 25 minutes before inverting onto a cooling rack to cool completely. Serve.
