How To Make Oreo Chocolate Bread

Treat yourself with a rich, indulgent dessert! Try this chocolate bread baked with cocoa powder, crushed Oreos, and chocolate chips.

  • ½cupunsalted butter,at room temperature
  • 1cupsugar
  • ½cupbrown sugar,packed
  • cupsflour
  • cupunsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½tspbaking powder
  • ¾tspsalt
  • 3large eggs
  • 2tspvanilla extract
  • 20Oreo cookies,crumbled in large chunks and divided
  • cupssemisweet chocolate chips


  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray an 8×4-inch loaf pan with baking spray.

  2. In the stand mixer, add the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar on medium speed for 2 minutes.

  3. Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

  4. Turn the mixer on low, add the eggs, one at a time, and then the vanilla.

  5. Add in the dry ingredients until just combined, then fold in most of the Oreos (reserve ½ cup) and all the chocolate chips.

  6. Add the batter to the loaf pan and top with remaining Oreos.

  7. Bake for 50 to 55 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
