How To Make Tri Tip Marinade

Make your roast juicier and more flavorful with this tri tip marinade, made with a savory and tangy blend of soy sauce, lemon, and Worcestershire sauce!

  • cupsoy sauce,or low sodium soy sauce
  • ¼cuplemon juice,freshly squeezed
  • ½cupolive oil
  • ¼cupWorcestershire sauce
  • 1tbspgarlic,minced
  • 2tspItalian seasoning
  • 1tspblack pepper
  • ½tspsalt
  • ½tsponion powder
  • 2tspbrown sugar


  1. Place the soy sauce, lemon juice, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, Italian seasoning, black pepper, onion powder, and brown sugar in a bowl or in a resealable gallon-sized freezer bag. Mix to combine.

  2. Marinate with tri tip steaks for at least 1 hour or up to 24 hours.

  3. Grill, broil, or pan cook the tri tip as desired. Enjoy!
