How To Make Sausage Queso Dip
You’ll have your guests coming back for seconds with this easy queso dip. It’s loaded with sausage, tomatoes, and jalapenos, plus a hint of hot sauce.
Ingredients
- 8ozsausage
- 1small onion,diced
- 2tbspflour
- ½tspcumin
- 12ozevaporated milk,(1 can)
- 12ozdiced tomatoes with chiles,(1 can)
- 4ozjalapeños,diced, drained
- 2ozcream cheese
- 1tsphot sauce
- 2cupssharp cheddar cheese,grated
- pico de gallo,for garnish
- tortilla chips,for serving
Instructions

Cook sausage and onions in a 10-inch skillet. Drain any fat.

Add flour and cumin and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring constantly.

Add evaporated milk, then bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.

Stir in diced tomatoes, jalapenos, cream cheese, and hot sauce. Cook until melted and heated through for about 2 minutes.

Remove from heat and stir in cheddar cheese until smooth.

Garnish with pico de gallo and serve with tortilla chips.
