Ingredients

  • ¼ lb Monterey Jack cheese , grated
  • ½ cup jalapeños, fresh and chopped
  • 1 lb lump crabmeat, picked over for shells and cartilage
  • 2 oz Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, grated
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp garlic, chopped
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp red cayenne hot sauce
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Scallions

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Combine the crabmeat, garlic, jalapeños, Monterey Jack cheese, Worcestershire sauce, red cayenne hot sauce, salt, and mayonnaise in a medium-sized bowl.
  3. Toss gently to mix.
  4. Pour the mixture into a medium-sized shallow baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese on top of the crab meat mixture.
  6. Bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and let sit for about 5 minutes before garnishing with scallions. Enjoy!
