
How To Make Shrimp-Rice Soup
Clean and simple flavors are the highlight of this shrimp-rice soup. This seafood-based dish is made more refreshing with the addition of lime juice.

Ingredients
- 3½cupschicken stock
- 1small onion
- 1celery stalk
- ¼cupbrown rice,uncooked
- ½lbmedium shrimp
- 1tbsplime zest,grated
- 1lime juice
- 1tspred pepper flakes,crushed
- salt and pepper,to taste
Instructions

Combine the stock, onion, celery, and rice in a 6-quart pot.

Cover and bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat and simmer for about 40 minutes until the rice is tender.

Stir in the shrimp and simmer for about 5 minutes until they are pink and cooked through.
