  • 1yellow onion,coarsely chopped
  • 8key limes,juiced
  • fl oztequila,(1 jigger)
  • 1lbraw shrimp,peeled and deveined
  • 2green bell peppers,coarsely chopped
  • 2tbspfresh cilantro,chopped or to taste
  • 1tspground cayenne pepper


  1. Combine onion, Key lime juice, and tequila in a large skillet over high heat; saute until onion is translucent, 3 to 5 minutes. Reduce heat to medium.

  2. Add shrimp, green bell peppers, cilantro, and cayenne pepper; cover and simmer until shrimp turns bright pink, about 7 minutes.
