How To Make Chipotle Lime Chicken Fajitas Recipe
Spicy, tangy and full of flavor, these chicken fajitas are perfect for a quick weeknight meal or entertaining guests.

Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp chipotle in adobo sauce
- 2 limes, juiced
- 1 red onion, sliced
- 3 bell peppers (any color), sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- Salt and pepper
- Flour or corn tortillas, for serving
- Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, jalapenos, fresh cilantro
Instructions

In a bowl, mix together olive oil, chipotle in adobo sauce, lime juice, garlic, salt, and pepper.

Add chicken strips and coat well. Marinate for at least 10 minutes.

In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, approximately 5-7 minutes.

Remove chicken and set aside.

In the same pan, add sliced onion and peppers. Cook for 5-7 minutes, until tender but still firm.

Add chicken back to the pan with the vegetables and stir together.

Serve in tortillas with optional toppings.
