How To Make Slow Cooker Spaghetti Bolognese

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 carrot, diced
- 1 celery stalk, diced
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 8 oz spaghetti noodles
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Instructions

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.

Add the diced onion, minced garlic, diced carrot, and diced celery to the skillet with the ground beef. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, until the vegetables have softened.

Transfer the cooked ground beef and vegetables to a slow cooker. Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.

Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 6 hours, or on high heat for 3 hours.

Cook the spaghetti noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Serve the spaghetti bolognese sauce over the cooked noodles. Top with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil leaves.
