Copycat Pizza Hut Chicken Alfredo Pesto Recipe

Try this creamy chicken alfredo recipe based off of Pizza Hut’s version. Now you don’t have to leave the house to have Pizza Hut at home! Quick copycat recipes like this one are a cinch to make for dinner.

How To Make Copycat Pizza Hut Chicken Alfredo Pesto

  • 8 oz fusilli or rotini noodles (cooked & cooled)
  • 12 oz mozzarella cheese (grated & divided)
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese at room temperature
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Salt & ground black pepper (to taste)
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tbsp parmesan cheese (grated or powdered, divided)
  • 2 tbsp pesto sauce
  • 2 cups cooked & cubed chicken breast

To serve:

  • 2 tbsp chopped basil
  1. Start by preheating the oven to 375 degrees & grease your preferred baking dish.
  2. In a medium sauce pan, melt butter on medium-/low heat.
  3. Saute garlic until translucent
  4. Add in milk & briefly simmer
  5. Add both cream cheese and ½ of the mozzarella cheese. Mix until smooth & melted
  6. Add both cooked chicken & pesto. Mix until evenly incorporated
  7. Season to taste with salt & ground black pepper. Adjust accordingly
  8. Pour and spread 1/3 the sauce contents into the baking dish and add half of the noddles on top.
  9. Add ¼ of the remaining mozzarella and a little parmesan cheese.
  10. Repeat layering process until the top layer should be the last of the sauce.
  11. Top with more mozzarella and parmesan.
  12. Bake 20-30 minutes, or until top turns golden brown
  13. Serve hot & garnish with chopped basil
