How To Make Creamy Chicken Recipe

Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions

Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the diced onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent and the garlic is fragrant, about 2 minutes.

Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2 minutes, scraping the bottom of the skillet to release any browned bits.

Stir in the heavy cream and dried thyme. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, until the sauce has thickened slightly.

Add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and combined.

Return the chicken breasts to the skillet and spoon the sauce over them. Cover the skillet and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.

Remove the skillet from the heat and garnish with fresh parsley.

Serve the creamy chicken with pasta, rice, or crusty bread.
