Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 cup diced bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup diced celery
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, celery, garlic, Cajun seasoning, salt, black pepper, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, eggs, and milk. Mix well.

  3. Transfer the mixture to the greased loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.

  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).

  5. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
