Mahi Mahi Burgers With Mango Salsa Recipe

How To Make Mahi Mahi Burgers With Mango Salsa

  • 1 lb. mahi-mahi fillets (chopped into 1/4-inch slices)
  • 2 tbsp. cilantro (minced)
  • 2 tbsp. ginger (minced)
  • 2 tbsp. shallots (minced)
  • 2 tsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. honey
  • dash pepper
  • 3 tbsp olive oil

Mango Salsa

  • 1 mango (peeled, pitted, and diced)
  • 1 small red onion (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves (chopped)
  • 1 jalapeno (minced)
  • 1 tbsp. fresh lime juice
  • coarse salt
  1. Place mahi-mahi slices into a large bowl.

  2. Sprinkle with cilantro, ginger, shallots, soy sauce, honey, and pepper.
  3. Gently stir, making sure not to over-mix.
  4. Create 4 patties from the mixture, cover, and chill for 20 minutes.

  5. Preheat a large skillet with olive oil over medium heat.

  6. Add the patties and cook for 5 minutes on each side.

  7. Serve with mango salsa.

Making the mango salsa

  1. Combine all the salsa ingredients in a medium-sized bowl.

  2. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
