- 8 oz macaroni
- 2 cups fresh green beans, trimmed and chopped
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook the macaroni according to package instructions, adding the green beans during the last 3 minutes of cooking time. Drain well.

In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in the milk until smooth. Cook and stir until the mixture thickens.

Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted. Add the salt, black pepper, and garlic powder, stirring until well combined.

In a baking dish, combine the cooked macaroni, green beans, and cheese sauce. Mix well to coat everything evenly. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
