Ingredients

  • 500g chicken, cut into pieces
  • 2 tbsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, pureed
  • 1/4 cup yogurt
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken with garam masala, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Let it sit for 10 minutes.

  2. Heat oil in a pan and add the chopped onions. Sauté until golden brown.

  3. Add the tomato puree and cook until the oil separates.

  4. Add the marinated chicken and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. Reduce the heat, add yogurt, and cook for another 5 minutes.

  6. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or naan.
