How To Make Baked Rice and Peas
Make an easy side that pairs well with a lot of meals with this baked rice and peas recipe. This simple dish is cooked in broth with Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients
- 1cuplong grain rice,uncooked
- 14½ozchicken or vegetable broth,(1 can)
- 1tspbutter
- 2tbspParmesan cheese
- 5ozfrozen peas,(½ package) or canned
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine all ingredients in an oven-safe baking dish with a lid.

Place a piece of tin foil between the lid and the dish to ensure no steam escapes.

Bake for 45 minutes. (Do not open, peek, or stir the rice).

When 45 minutes is up, remove from the oven and let it sit for 10 more minutes to allow the steam to finish cooking the rice. (Do not open, peek, or stir the rice).

After 10 minutes, remove the lid and fluff with a fork.
