How To Make No-Sugar-Added Cherry Pie Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 cups pitted cherries
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, diced
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 pie crust, pre-made or homemade
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a medium saucepan, combine cherries and cornstarch. Stir in water and honey. Bring to a boil, whisking constantly.

Reduce heat and let simmer until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in butter and almond extract

Roll out pie crust and place in pie dish. Pour cherry filling into the crust.

Bake pie for 50-55 minutes or until filling is bubbling and crust is golden brown. Let cool before serving.
