How To Make Chickpea Flour Onion Rings Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 large onions, sliced into rings
  • 1 cup of chickpea flour
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1 tsp of smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp of baking powder
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the chickpea flour, salt, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and baking powder.

  2. Gradually add water to make a thick batter. Mix well to remove any lumps.

  3. Heat oil in a deep frying pan.

  4. Dip onion rings in the batter until fully coated.

  5. Fry onion rings in hot oil until golden brown.

  6. Drain on paper towel and serve hot.
