  • 2 large onions, cut into rings
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a pot over medium heat.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Dip onion rings in buttermilk then coat them in the flour mixture.
  4. Next, coat the onion rings in panko breadcrumbs.
  5. Fry the onion rings in the hot oil until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Drain on paper towels, then serve and enjoy!
