White Castle Onion Rings Recipe

How To Make White Castle Onion Rings

Delicious, crispy onion rings just like the ones from White Castle!

Ingredients

  • 2 large sweet onions
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Cut onions into 1/2 inch slices and separate into rings.

  2. In a bowl, mix together flour, salt, paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper.

  3. In another bowl, pour buttermilk.

  4. Dip onion rings into buttermilk and then coat with flour mixture.

  5. Heat vegetable oil in a pot or deep fryer to 375°F.

  6. Fry onion rings for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.

  7. Remove from oil and place on paper towel to drain excess oil.

  8. Serve and enjoy!
