How To Make Chickpea Flour Dumplings Recipe

Delicious and healthy dumplings made with chickpea flour.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chickpea flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro leaves
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, add chickpea flour, salt, baking powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder and mix well.

  2. Add water slowly to make a smooth batter.

  3. Add chopped cilantro and mix well.

  4. Heat oil in a frying pan.

  5. Using a spoon, drop the batter into hot oil and fry until golden brown.

  6. Remove with a slotted spoon and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.

  7. Serve hot with chutney.
