Ingredients
- 2 tbsp sugar, divided
- 1 tsp cinnamon, divided
- ¼ cup flour
- salt, to taste
- ⅛ tsp cream of tartar
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp butter, melted
- 1 tbsp milk
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

In a small bowl, combine 1 teaspoon of sugar and ½ teaspoon of cinnamon. Set aside.

In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, salt, tartar, remaining sugar, and cinnamon. Whisk together.

Add in the butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until well-incorporated.

Form the dough into a ball. Roll the ball into the cinnamon-sugar mixture.

Transfer the ball to the baking sheet and press down into the shape of a cookie.
