How To Make Red Velvet Kiss Cookies
Make red velvet in a cookie form with the help of our recipe. These festive cookies have Hershey’s Kiss chocolates in the middle for some added sweetness.

Ingredients
- 14tbspunsalted butter,softened
- 1cupbrown sugar
- ½cupsugar
- 2cupsall purpose flour
- 1cupcocoa powder
- ¾tspbaking soda
- ¼tspbaking powder
- ¼tspsalt
- 2largeeggs
- 1tspvanilla
- 1tbspred liquid food coloring
- ¾cupsanding sugar,gold, red or clear
- 36Hershey’s Kiss chocolates,unwrapped
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Mix the butter, brown sugar and sugar in a stand mixer on medium speed for 1 to 2 minutes or until light and fluffy.

While the butter is creaming, sift the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and baking powder in a seperate bowl.

Add the eggs, vanilla and red food coloring to the stand mixer for 15 seconds then add in the flour mixture.

Scoop the cookies with a 1 tablespoon sized cookie scoop and roll in sanding sugar then refrigerate for 20 minutes.

Bake on a cookie sheet for 11 to 13 minutes. As soon as they come out of the oven, press a Hershey’s Kiss chocolate into the middle of the cookie and allow them to cool on a wire rack.
