How To Make Bob Evans Wildfire Chicken Sandwich Recipe

Spicy grilled chicken with BBQ sauce, smoked bacon, and melted pepper jack cheese on a brioche bun.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 4 slices smoked bacon
  • 4 slices pepper jack cheese
  • 4 brioche buns
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

  2. In a small bowl, combine BBQ sauce, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Set aside.

  3. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper and brush both sides with olive oil.

  4. Grill chicken for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.

  5. Brush chicken with BBQ sauce mixture during last 2 minutes of grilling.

  6. Toast brioche buns on grill or grill pan.

  7. Assemble sandwiches by placing grilled chicken on bottom bun, topped with bacon, pepper jack cheese, and top bun.

  8. Serve hot.
