How To Make Bob Evans Turkey and Dressing Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 turkey breast (2-2.5 lbs)
  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 2 cups of diced onions
  • 2 cups of diced celery
  • 1 loaf of white bread, cut into cubes
  • 2 tbsp of poultry seasoning
  • 2 tsp of garlic powder
  • 2 tsp of salt
  • 1 tsp of black pepper
  • 4 cups of chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onions and celery and cook until softened.

  3. In a large bowl, mix together the bread cubes, cooked onions and celery, poultry seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  4. Gradually stir in the chicken broth until everything is moistened.

  5. Place the turkey breast in a roasting pan and spoon the stuffing mixture into the cavity of the turkey breast.

  6. Roast the turkey in the oven for approximately 2.5-3 hours, or until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the turkey breast registers 165°F.

  7. Let the turkey rest for at least 10 minutes before carving and serving.
