How To Make Bob Evans Slow-Cooked Pot Roast Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef chuck roast
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 4 carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 4 potatoes, peeled and chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown the beef on all sides and transfer to a slow cooker.

  2. In the same skillet, sauté the onions and garlic for 3-4 minutes. Add to the slow cooker.

  3. Pour beef broth over beef. Add thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.

  4. Add chopped carrots and potatoes.

  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.

  6. Serve with your favorite sides.
