How To Make Bob Evans Apple Cinnamon French Toast Recipe
This delicious breakfast dish is made with thick slices of French toast, sweet apple filling, and warm cinnamon spices.

Ingredients
- 8 slices of thick-cut bread
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup of milk
- 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp of brown sugar
- 1 tbsp of ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup of butter, divided
- 2 apples, peeled and sliced
- 1/4 cup of maple syrup
- Powdered sugar, for garnish
Instructions

In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon.

Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, then coat both sides with the cinnamon sugar mixture.

In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the apple slices and cook until they start to soften, about 5 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Add another 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet. When the butter has melted, add the French toast slices and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Serve the French toast topped with the cooked apple slices, a drizzle of maple syrup, and a dusting of powdered sugar.
