- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions, for garnish
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
-
In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, Sriracha sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil.
-
Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken thighs and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until browned.
-
Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken thighs and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
-
Transfer the chicken thighs to a baking dish and pour the remaining sauce over them.
-
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and sticky.
-
In a small bowl, mix together the cornstarch and water to make a slurry. Stir the slurry into the sauce in the baking dish and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the sauce thickens even more.
-
Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
