  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, dried thyme, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper to create the blackened seasoning.

  2. Rub the blackened seasoning evenly on both sides of the fish fillets.

  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  4. Carefully place the seasoned fish fillets in the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until they are blackened and cooked through.

  5. Remove the fish from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
