How To Make Buffalo Chicken Sandwich Recipe

A spicy and savory sandwich perfect for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts, pounded thin
  • 1 cup of buffalo sauce
  • 1/2 cup of mayonnaise
  • 4 brioche buns
  • 4 slices of pepper jack cheese
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup of diced celery
  • 2 tbsp of butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. In a bowl, mix together buffalo sauce and mayonnaise. Set aside.

  3. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

  4. Melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken breasts for 3-5 minutes on each side, until browned and cooked through.

  5. Brush each chicken breast with buffalo sauce mixture.

  6. Place chicken breasts on a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes.

  7. While chicken is baking, toast brioche buns.

  8. Top each bun with a slice of pepper jack cheese.

  9. Place chicken breasts on top of cheese.

  10. Add sliced red onion and diced celery on top of chicken.

  11. Close sandwich and serve.
