Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Green onions and additional sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.

  3. In a small bowl, whisk together sesame oil, soy sauce, honey, ginger, garlic, and cornstarch until smooth.

  4. Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat and add chicken breasts. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until browned.

  5. Pour sauce over chicken and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

  6. Transfer skillet to oven and cook for 15-20 minutes, until chicken is cooked through.

  7. Garnish with green onions and additional sesame seeds before serving.
