Easy Baked French Toast Recipe

This wonderful baked french toast recipe is sure to be a winner! Top it off with your favorite toppings and spreads for a wholesome breakfast to start your day.

How To Make Easy Baked French Toast

  • 1 cup brown sugar (firmly packed )
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 tbsp light corn syrup
  • 8 slices Italian bread (thickly sliced )
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  1. In a saucepan combine brown sugar, butter and corn syrup.

  2. Bring to a full boil, reduce heat to medium and simmer until thickened (approx. 2-3 minutes).

  3. Pour mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Place bread evenly in pan.

  4. Beat the remaining ingredients and pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

  5. In the morning, bake uncovered for 45 minutes in a 350-degree oven, until light brown.

  6. Serve with warm syrup.
