How To Make Chocolate Casserole
A simple yet tasty chocolate recipe try out if you love the combination of coffee and chocolate.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup yogurt, or buttermilk
- 1 cup strong coffee, hot
- ¾ cup cocoa powder
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 pcs eggs
- cooking spray
For Serving:
- 1 oz whipped cream
- 1 tbsp chocolate syrup
- 1 tbsp chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp pecans, roasted

Preheat your oven to 300 degrees F. Grease a baking casserole of your choice with cooking spray, dust with flour, and tap to remove any excess.

Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

In a mixing bowl attached to a hand beater, combine sugar, oil, buttermilk or yogurt, vanilla extract, and eggs. Beat until the sugar has dissolved and mixture turns pale and light roughly 8 to 10 minutes.

Fold the sifted flour mixture, followed by the strong coffee until evenly incorporated.

Pour your batter into the dusted baking casserole. Bake for roughly an hour or until a cake tester comes out clean.

Once baked, set aside at room temperature and allow to cool completely.
