Ham and Cheese Egg Roll Recipe

How To Make Ham and Cheese Egg Roll

  • 6 Eggs Scrambled
  • 1 Cup Cooked Ham Chopped
  • 1 1/2 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 tsp. Seasoned Pepper
  • 1/2 Cup Onion Chopped
  • 1 Cup Rice Cooked
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 16 oz. Wrappers
  • Vegetable Oil
  • 1/4 Lemon Zest


  1. In a medium sized-bowl, mix ham, egg, cheese, onion, lemon zest, rice, pepper and salt.

  2. Brush water around the edge of egg roll wrapper and place 1/3 cup of the mixture into the middle of the egg roll wrapper.

  3. Fold bottom corner of the wrapper over filling, covering the filling.

  4. Tuck the tip of the corner under filling.
  5. Then fold the left and right wrapper corners over filling.
  6. Finish by tightly rolling filled end towards the remaining corner.
  7. Gently press on the wrapper to seal.
  8. Heat stove to medium heat and pour oil about 3 inches deep into a deep pan or dutch oven.

  9. Fry the egg rolls for 3 to 4 minutes or until golden brown.

  10. When done let sit on paper towels to drain excess oil.
