How To Make Hazelnut Syrup Recipe
A sweet and nutty syrup perfect for adding to coffee or drizzling over pancakes.

Ingredients
- 1 cup hazelnuts
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F and spread hazelnuts on a baking sheet. Toast for 10 minutes, or until fragrant and lightly browned.

In a saucepan, combine toasted hazelnuts and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

Remove from heat and strain mixture through a fine mesh sieve, pressing down on the hazelnuts to extract as much liquid as possible.

Return liquid to the saucepan and add sugar. Bring back to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Let cool to room temperature before serving.
