  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp of lime juice
  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • 1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 tbsp of vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped onion, minced garlic, and minced jalapeno pepper. Cook until onions are translucent.

  2. Add diced mangoes, lime juice, honey, cayenne pepper, and salt. Stir well to combine.

  3. Simmer the mixture for about 10 minutes, until mangoes are softened.

  4. Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then transfer to a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.

  5. Serve the spicy mango sauce with your favorite dishes as a dipping sauce or drizzle it over grilled chicken, fish, or vegetables.
