Ingredients
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
Instructions

In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes over medium heat.

Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water until smooth.

Add the cornstarch mixture to the sauce and stir until thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
