How To Make Mongolian BBQ Skewers Recipe

Juicy and tender meat skewers marinated in a blend of soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and spices, perfect for BBQs and outdoor gatherings.

Ingredients

  • -1 lb beef or chicken, sliced into thin strips
  • -1 red onion, sliced into thin pieces
  • -1 red bell pepper, sliced into thin pieces
  • -1/4 cup soy sauce
  • -2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • -2 tbsp honey
  • -1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • -1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • -1 tsp garlic, minced
  • -Salt and pepper
  • -Bamboo skewers, soaked in water for at least 30 minutes

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, vegetable oil, ginger, garlic, salt and pepper. Mix well

  2. Marinate sliced meat in the mixture for at least 10 minutes or overnight.

  3. Assemble skewers by alternating meat, onion, and pepper slices.

  4. Preheat the grill over medium-high heat and cook skewers for 8-10 minutes or until meat is cooked to your liking.

  5. Serve hot, preferably with rice or noodles.
