How To Make Broccoli Almond

  • 2 lb broccoli, florets only
  • ½ cup butter, unsalted
  • ½ cup almonds, flaked, sliced, slivered or roasted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • tbsp cornstarch
  • cup chicken broth
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste


  1. Heat up a wide skillet over medium heat and melt butter.

  2. Add garlic & sauté until golden.

  3. Add broccoli and sauté until tender.

  4. Dissolve cornstarch in chicken broth. Mix to combine then add broth to broccoli. Boil just until thickened.

  5. Add the almonds then toss to combine.

  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust accordingly.

  7. Serve with mashed potatoes roughly 1 cup per serving. Best with chicken.
