How To Make Crescent Roll Crust Taco Pizza

  • 8 oz can refrigerated crescent dinner roll dough
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 tsp mild salsa
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup corn kernels (drained)
  • 3 oz red onion (small dice)
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded )
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper (sliced)
  • ¼ cup green or yellow bell peppers (small dice)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

To serve:

  • fresh basil
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Separate the dough into 8 pieces. Form into balls
  3. Place the pieces in an ungreased 9-inch pan or 10-inch pie tray. Then press in the bottom and top portions to form the crust. Cover with cling film & set aside
  4. Next, in a medium skillet, saute the ground beef with taco seasoning in hot oil until caramelized.
  5. Deglaze with beer and reduce briefly.
  6. Stir occasionally until the beef is thoroughly cooked. Afterward, drain the fat from the beef.
  7. Once your beef is drained, add the corn & cayenne pepper in the skillet. Saute briefly
  8. After this, add in the marinara sauce & salsa. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  9. Spoon the beef mixture into a crust-lined pan and sprinkle it with the two types of cheese.
  10. Next, top the overall mixture with bell peppers and sliced red onions.
  11. Bake your prepared pizza in the oven for 15 minutes or until the crust turns deep golden brown and the cheeses are melted.
  12. Once your pizza is done, feel free to top it with basil and enjoy your meal!
