These tantalizing tacos are a copycat of Taco Bell’s original recipe. Everyone’s favorite quick tacos can be made in your very own kitchen in less than 30 minutes. You will want to have tacos every night once you try this recipe.

How To Make Copycat Taco Bell’s Top-Secret Taco

For Beef Filling:

  • 4 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp season salt
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp onion (minced )
  • 1/2 tsp beef bouillon
  • 1 1/3 lb Lean ground chuck

For Tacos:

  • 12 tortillas
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded )
  • 1 cup lettuce (shredded)
  • 2 roma tomatoes (chopped fine)
  • sour cream (for topping)
  1. Mix all the beef filling ingredients except the ground chuck in a small bowl. Brown and crumble ground chuck according to package directions.

  2. Drain grease off and add season mixture with one cup of water. Stir until mixed well over a low heat. Let simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Most of the water should have cooked out.

To Assemble The Tacos:

  1. Lay tortillas on a platter or plate and spoon ¼ cup of meat in the center of each tortilla, sprinkle tomato, shredded lettuce and cheese in the order of your choice. Top with a dollop of sour cream or to taste. Serve hot.
