How To Make Egg Drop Noodle Soup Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of chicken broth
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 1 tsp of sesame oil
  • 1 tsp of grated ginger
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 6 oz of egg noodles
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring chicken broth and water to a boil.

  2. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic, and reduce heat to low.

  3. Simmer for 5 minutes.

  4. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions.

  5. Add cooked noodles to the soup and divide among 4 bowls.

  6. Gradually pour in beaten eggs while stirring the soup with a fork.

  7. Let simmer for 1-2 minutes, until the egg is cooked through.

  8. Garnish with green onions and season with salt and pepper.
