How To Make Oyster Sushi Recipe

A mouth-watering sushi recipe with fresh oyster as the star ingredient.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sushi rice
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 8 fresh oysters
  • 2 sheets nori
  • Wasabi and soy sauce for serving

Instructions

  1. Rinse sushi rice and cook with water according to package instructions.

  2. In a small saucepan, heat rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved.

  3. Once rice is cooked, add vinegar mixture and stir to combine.

  4. Leave rice to cool then take about 1/4 cup of rice and form into a long oval shape.

  5. Place a fresh oyster on top of the rice and wrap with a strip of nori.

  6. Repeat with remaining oysters.

  7. Cut into bite-sized pieces and serve with wasabi and soy sauce.
