Ingredients

  • 12 fresh oysters on half shell
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4 cup of fresh parsley, minced
  • 1/4 cup of fresh spinach, minced
  • 1/4 cup of fresh green onions, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine butter, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic, parsley, spinach, and green onions.

  3. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.

  4. Place 1-2 tablespoons of the mixture on each oyster.

  5. Broil the oysters for 6-8 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown.

  6. Serve with lemon wedges.
