How To Make Vegetable Detox Soup Recipe

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup chopped carrots
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped sweet potato
  • 1 cup chopped zucchini
  • 1 cup chopped kale
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot and saute onion and garlic until soft.

  2. Add carrots, celery, sweet potato, and zucchini. Cook for 5 minutes.

  3. Add kale and turmeric, and cook for another 3 minutes.

  4. Pour in vegetable broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.

  5. Season with salt and pepper, and stir in lemon juice.
