How To Make Teriyaki Tuna Skewers

Ingredients

  • 1 lb tuna steaks, cut into cubes
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1 green onion, sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 4 skewers

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger.

  2. Place the cubed tuna in a ziplock bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag and let it marinate in the fridge for at least 15 minutes.

  3. Preheat grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Thread the marinated tuna cubes onto skewers.

  4. Grill the skewers for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the tuna is cooked to your liking.

  5. While grilling, brush the skewers with the remaining marinade for extra flavor.

  6. Once cooked, remove the skewers from the grill and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.

  7. Serve the teriyaki tuna skewers hot as an appetizer or as a main course with rice or salad.
