Succulent seared ahi tuna served with a zesty ginger soy sauce.

  • 4 6-oz. ahi tuna steaks
  • 2 tbsp. sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 2 tbsp. ginger, grated
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and pepper to season
  • 2 green onions, sliced thinly
  • 2 tbsp. sesame seeds


  1. Heat sesame oil in a skillet over high heat.

  2. Season tuna steaks with salt and pepper, then sear each side for 2-3 minutes.

  3. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, ginger, and garlic.

  4. Plate tuna steaks and pour soy sauce mixture over them.

  5. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
